    The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative invites applications for one postdoctoral fellowship position in innovation and entrepreneurship. The position will begin January 2022 and continue for up to two years.  Of particular interest are researchers who examine mission or purpose-driven startups, managing growth in ventures, business model innovation, sustainability and digital transformation. 

    The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative provides a competitive stipend plus support for travel and research-related expenses. Postdoctoral Fellows will join an active management research community, have ample opportunities to connect with collaborators and mentors, and present and obtain feedback on their own research. Applicants should have completed their Ph.D. before joining and no later than December 2021. Demonstrated competence in writing research papers, case studies, or books is essential. The role draws on skills in quantitative and qualitative methods of inquiry, as well as theoretical and empirical work in management. Disciplinary background in management or related social science disciplines is preferred.

    The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative is an academic center within the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Its mission is to engage scholars, industry practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate knowledge on issues at the nexus of entrepreneurship, innovation, and management. The candidate's primary supervisor will be Professor Gerry George.
