Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor or Assistant/Associate Lecturer will have primary teaching responsibilities in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation. The primary responsibility is to teach undergraduates in areas including corporate innovation and strategy, entrepreneurial leadership and developing high performing innovation teams, entrepreneurial finance, and enterprise consulting. Position is required to recruit and select clients for the Entrepreneurship program's Corporate Innovation (ESP 341) and Enterprise Consulting (ESP 461) courses and to oversee and support student teams on engagements with each company. Position is also expected to provide support for co-curricular events sponsored by the Department of Entrepreneurship, advise and mentor students and student teams, and assist with student recruiting/retention.BACKGROUND: Ranked among the "Top 10 Public Schools for Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Studies" for thirteen consecutive years in The Princeton Review® and Entrepreneur Magazine annual survey of undergraduate entrepreneurship programs, the Department of Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University boasts 500 undergraduate entrepreneurship co-majors and minors.
