    POSITION: The Department of Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University invite applications for the The Lance and Diane White Assistant Professorship in Entrepreneurship (tenure track) to teach entrepreneurship; maintain an active research program and publish in highly regarded management and entrepreneurship journals; advise students; and provide service to the institution. Appointment begins Fall 2022.

    Entrepreneurship faculty publish regularly in the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business VenturingEntrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and Journal of Business Ethics, among other leading scholarly academic journals. Our faculty have earned a wide range of international scholarly research awards, including awards from the Academy of Management (AoM), Strategic Management Society (SMS), the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference, the Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference, and the Kauffman Foundation, among others. In addition, entrepreneurship faculty serve as editor and/or on the editorial review board for leading academic research journals in management and entrepreneurship-including Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Exchange, and Journal of Management, among others.

    REQUIRED: Ph.D. in entrepreneurship or related field of study by date of appointment.
     
    DESIRED: Consideration may be given to candidates with a proficiency in empirical research in the field of entrepreneurship; a commitment to excellence in teaching high-quality undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship courses; or the ability and desire to conduct empirical entrepreneurship research for publication in highly-regarded refereed management and/or entrepreneurship journals; with interest and ability to teach courses in entrepreneurship and in their field of research at both the undergraduate and Master's level.
