Just a final reminder to join our live, open, synchronous symposium, Facts vs. Folklore of Founding Teams: Let's Talk with the Trailblazers on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 10-11:30 am ET! Visit https://2021.aom.org/meetings/virtual/SDua6heuPKmRqJPja to add it to your schedule.

    Lead panelists include:

Ethan Mollick (Wharton), April Franco (University of Toronto), Howard Aldrich (UNC); Cyrine Ben-Hafaïedh (IÉSEG), Martin Ruef (Duke), Mary Zellmer-Bruhn (University of Minnesota), Noam Wasserman (Yeshiva University), Nicola Breugst (TUM); moderated by Audra Quinn (Ivey Business School) and Jason D'Mello (Loyola Marymount University)

The panel aims to engage scholars in current debates on founding teams – are they better than solo founders? How can we better study them? What theoretical developments are needed to integrate the field? And what makes an effective founding team? In assembling the preeminent scholars on these subjects to engage in lively debate to answer these questions, the panel aims to address what we know and what are the most pressing research directions ahead.

If you have questions you'd like to submit to the panelists in advance, email Audra Quinn at aquinn.phd@ivey.ca. Apologies in advance for cross-posting. Hope you see you all there!
