We will be hosting a PDW on "Natural Experiments in Management Research: A Hands-on Introduction and Paper Development Workshop" at the AOM in Boston. The PDW is scheduled for Friday, August 9, from 11:30AM-1:30PM in Boston Hynes Convention Center, 208.
Goals of the PDW
Format of the PDW
Part 1: Natural experiments in management and organization studies (60 minutes) Participants will learn about the most common designs of natural experiments (i.e., regression discontinuity design, difference-in-difference design, and instrumental variable design). This part is open without registration.
Part 2 – Paper development session (60 minutes) Registered participants will receive feedback on the natural experiment they use in their research. Participants can register for the paper development workshop by sending a summary paper (focus on methods and results) to Jost Sieweke (firstname.lastname@example.org) by July 15, 2019.
