    Assistant Professor of Management (Strategic Management)

     

    The Management Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall, 2020. The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate level courses in strategic management (capstone course), conducting scholarly activities that result in quality peer-reviewed publications, student advising, and service to advance the mission of the department, school, and university. Instructional duties include teaching three classes per semester. Although not a requirement, applicants with supplementary teaching interests in entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply.

     

    A Ph.D. in Management is required. Candidates with earned degrees will be given preference, but ABDs with completion of degree by August 1, 2020 will be considered. Candidates must have potential to be excellent teachers, active researchers, and participating members of the university and professional communities. The ideal candidate will have an interest in teaching a variety of Strategic Management courses at the undergraduate and Master's level.
