    Dear Colleagues
Joel, Peter, Isabella, Ute, Johan and I would like to invite you to the PDW (#10320) on Mental Health and Well-Being as the Link between Entrepreneurship and Leadership Research.  This PDW is co-sponsored by ENT, OB, and HCM divisions. Please register at http://aom.org/annualmeeting/registration/pdw/) with the code 2AJC6T

The past several decades have witnessed an increased interest in mental health and well-being in entrepreneurship, leadership and wider organizational behavior (OB) scholarship. This research has developed independently in each domain. While the insights derived from these domains have made important contributions to their respective literatures, we believe that the theories are still under-developed because the scholars in their own domains have not reached across the disciplinary lines. This symposium proposes to begin fixing this problem. Through impulse presentations, an inspirational and interactive gallery walk involving participants from diverse backgrounds and a plenary discussion with journal editors, this PDW will draw the much-needed linkages across entrepreneurship and leadership research by examining mental health and well-being issues from different perspectives. We expect that similar mental health issues such as bipolar disorder or depression, viewed from different disciplinary lenses, will foster novel perspectives in our respective disciplines. Hence, our PDW facilitates the cross-pollination of ideas and fosters personal and scholarly relationships that can inspire "next generation" questions and research partnership in the domain of mental health and well- being in emerging and established organizations.
