    The position

We are looking for several researchers ("Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter*innen (m/f/d)") who have completed, or are about to finish, their doctoral degree to join us on a 100% position at public sector pay scale (TV-L) level E 13. Pay is commensurate with experience, and above 51,500 EUR at a minimum. Applicants may work with any of the department members on mutually agreed projects. The position is research focused and offers manifold opportunities to engage in qualitative/quantitative data collection, case or data analyses, and to write articles for leading domain-specific outlets (e.g., international conferences or journals). Teaching will be limited to a maximum of two courses per year, or less.

    Qualifications

You have (or are close to completing) an outstanding Ph.D. in management, economics, law, management information systems, psychology, sociology, or related subjects, including strong disciplinary methodological and conceptual training. Beyond any formal requirements, we are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated team players willing to learn, take on responsibility and develop a promising research trajectory. Knowledge of German is not a requirement.

    Your application

As an equal opportunity employer, TUM explicitly encourages applications from women and all others who will bring additional diversity dimensions to the university. Preference will be given to disabled candidates with essentially the same qualifications.

To apply for this position, please send a cover letter (specifying your research interests, project idea[s], which department member[s] you would like to work with, and possible starting date), your resume, one published or working paper representing the kind of research you would hope to conduct coming here, and copies of relevant certificates via email only to the current speaker of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship department, Oliver Alexy (o.alexy@tum.de), who can also answer your questions on the position. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2019. Late applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. Several members of the department will be present at the Academy of Management Conference 2019. In case you would like to be considered for an interview there, please have your documents with us by July 20, 2019 at the very latest.
