    King's College London is one of the top 25 universities in the world (2018 QS World University Rankings) and the fourth oldest university in England, with nearly 30,000 students from some 150 countries, and 8,000 employees. King's Business School is the ninth and newest research-intensive faculty located in the iconic Bush House in the heart of London, a hub for engagement with business, the City, social enterprise, government and the public sector. King's Business School attracts students from over 80 countries into our undergraduate and specialist MSc programmes. 

    In order to achieve our ambitions we are now looking to recruit a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Innovation/Entrepreneurship (equivalent to Assistant and Associate Professor in the U.S. system). The successful candidate will initiate, lead and launch research projects and be passionate about bridging the gap between the academic community and business world. Applications are sought from outstanding scholars with strong interests in being a part of the Strategy, International Management & Entrepreneurship Group. The group hosts two flagship MSc courses, the new MSc in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the highly successful MSc in International Management (MiiM). 

    The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the Group in the areas of research, impact, teaching and administration. The School places a premium on international levels of scholarship and research excellence as we continue to develop key international partnerships to support our significant growth agenda. You will hold a PhD in a relevant field and have a high-quality track record of publications in leading referred journals. Some experience of grant applications as well as ability to translate research into impactful insights for practice or policy would be beneficial. 

    We are looking to recruit an outstanding candidate, with an interest in Innovation or Entrepreneurship, to join the King's Business School. The School is one of the top ten ranked centres for the study of management and business in the UK, and became an independent Faculty on 1 August 2017, reflecting growth in the range and scale of research and teaching. There are presently over 100 academic staff and a full range of undergraduate, Masters and PhD programmes. 

    As such we are going through an exciting development phase and are looking for high quality people to join our growing team. The School places a premium on international levels of scholarship and research excellence and you will be expected to play a role in the standing and development of the Group in this regard. 

    The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to high quality research and will be able to contribute excellent teaching to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You should hold a PhD in a relevant field, have a high quality track record of publications in leading referred journals and some experience in securing research income. 

    The salary will be paid at: 
    Lecturer: Grade 6/7: £33,518 - £49,149 plus £3,223 London Weighting Allowance per annum. 
    Senior Lecturer: Grade 8: £50,618 - £58,655 plus £3,223 London Weighting Allowance per annum. 

    This post will permanent. 

    This is a full-time. 

    The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
