Research on passion in entrepreneurship has exploded in the past 10 years, yet there are still fundamental discrepancies in how the field as a whole treats this powerful construct. A panel of scholars who regularly publish work on entrepreneurial passion will discuss and debate problematic issues of: 1) construct definitions and the overlaps and discrepancies between them; 2) measurement problems related to passion in entrepreneurship; 3) independent and dependent variables we are missing that need to be incorporated in the nomological net surrounding passion; and 4) methodological advancements we have made as well as areas for future work.
This symposium will feature panelist presentations and remarks from the discussant as well as the organizers. Q&A with the audience will be encouraged.
All are welcome to attend. No pre-registration required.
