    Dear colleagues, A Friendly reminder - don't miss the deadline for paper, abstract, workshop proposals submissions for this year's CCSBE conference.

    Dalhousie University will be hosting the annual conference for the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE) May 3-5th in Halifax Nova Scotia. The theme of this year's conference is Research, Programs and Practice: Collaborating to Build Vibrant Entrepreneurial Networks.
     
    The annual CCSBE conference celebrates the contributions of researchers, entrepreneurship educators, practitioners in the community, policy makers and others supporting small business and entrepreneurship. The annual CCSBE Conference is an opportunity to share information about your university's or community's entrepreneurship programs and to gain exposure for your successful initiatives.  It is also an opportunity to learn from the best practices and to network with researchers, community practitioners, entrepreneurship faculty, and entrepreneurship leaders from around the world.   

    It Takes a Village.  We welcome the sharing of ideas, research, educational programs, pedagogy, community- based initiatives, and related innovative projects to facilitate and support small business and entrepreneurship. The pillars for CCSBE include Researchers, Policy Makers, Educators, Community Practitioners and Service Providers. Further information on CCSBE can be found at: http://ccsbe.org/
     
    CALL FOR PAPERS, WORKSHOPS AND PANEL SESSIONS: 
    Paper or workshop proposal submissions due: March 23, 2018
    Early bird conference registration ends: April 7th, 2018
    Full paper or final abstract due: April 3, 2018
    Incomplete papers can be presented. 
    Full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and considered for conference best paper awards.
    Submissions may be in English and French and should be emailed as an attachment to: ccsbeinfo@gmail.com.

    Tracks are dependent on paper themes, and may include:
    Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy
    Globalization and Entrepreneurship
    Building, Launching and Growing Ventures
    Supporting Small and Medium Sized Business
    Microfinance and Sustainable Funding
    Immigrant Entrepreneurship
    Community-based Initiatives Supporting Entrepreneurship
    Aboriginal Entrepreneurship

    This year's conference will be hosted in beautiful Halifax, capital of Nova Scotia, Canada, in the early spring (May 3rd-5th, 2018).  Halifax is a historic port city on the Atlantic Ocean and a major economic center in Atlantic Canada.  CCSBE attendees can take advantage of the Historic Tours, lobster and other culinary adventures, wineries, whale watching, world class golfing, hiking, cycling, rafting, kayaking, national parks, and visit five world-renown UNESCO-designated landscapes.
