Dear All,
I was wondering if you could share the stories about how your University-based business incubators and accelerators found their place in the organization. I am developing a research protocol and some of these questions came up:
Are there (in other jurisdictions) university-based business incubators and/or accelerators which are independent entities (independent of the universities)?
Are there (in other jurisdictions) UBBIAs which have a seat in the University governments?
Are there (in other jurisdictions) UBBIAs which belong to Business Schools / disciplinary departments (units) of innovation or/and entrepreneurship / disciplinary departments (units) of regional development?
Are there (in other jurisdictions) UBBIAs which answer directly to provost or pro-rector / answer simultaneously to several entities within the university or even outside of it? What are the working arrangements in these cases?
I am looking at Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and regional as well as university politics seem to have a huge influence. So, I am looking to add nuance to my thinking.
Thank you in advance for help!
