Our resource librarians are in the process of revising the research guides ("libguides") designed for use by entrepreneurship faculty, students, and clients and staff of our onsite Small Business Development Center.  I'm writing to ask the community to share examples and exemplars from your campus.  What works, what has good design, and what content do you think is useful to include in a libguide?

Thank you for taking the time to share.

I worked with our reference librarians to help create the original guide, whose latest version is listed here:

These early efforts spilled over into related guides on company research and industry research. At that time, I was the only professor teaching entrepreneurship, so when I explained how I taught online/secondary research, and what sites I made the most use of. I also had the librarian come in to co-teach that class topic with me to see the rationale for the use of the material.

The librarian used that model to set up the basic outline, which was massively expanded (then and over the years) with resources they found from their own research and networking with other librarians.

I believe the library found it a worthwhile endeavor given how many guides they've created over the years.

University of Missouri - Kansas City has a great example of a library guide for business and entrepreneurship.  I refer students to this guide who are taking my online Introduction to Entrepreneurship Course.
