Los Angeles, NOVEMBER 2 & 3, 2018 Sponsored by University of Southern California Marshall School of Business & Northeastern D'Amore-McKim School of Business CALL FOR ABSTRACTS DEADLINE: September 9th, 2018 The Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference is a two-day conference that brings together scholars, researchers, students and practitioners from around the world to discuss emerging concepts and explore topics in social entrepreneurship, social enterprise, social innovation, sustainability and impact. The conference, the largest academic gathering of its kind in terms of research paper submissions, is dedicated to the ongoing development of theory and research on social entrepreneurship and its impact on global communities. We are pleased to announce the following keynote speakers: Dean Shepherd, University of Notre Dame Anne-Claire Pache, ESSEC Business School David Townsend, Virginia Tech ABSTRACT / PAPER SUBMISSION AND REVIEW PROCESS Authors who wish to present their papers at the conference should submit electronically a three-page abstract (double-spaced, times new roman font, size 12) by September 9th, 2018 to the conference co-Directors Dr. Jill Kickul, Professor of Clinical Entrepreneurship and Research Director, Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab at University of Southern California, and Dr. Sophie Bacq, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Northeastern University at this address: kickul@marshall.usc.edu Abstracts will be selected and authors will be notified and invited by September 16th, 2018. A full paper will be due on October 27th, 2018. Full papers will be considered for the conference Best Paper Award ($5,000) which will be announced at the Award Reception on Saturday November 3rd, 2018.
